"When we checked in, we were informed the parking was “free”. They had a sign at the check-in counter that said parking was $15/night. We inquired about it. They reassured us it was included. I just checked my credit card statement & I was charged $30!! (We stayed 2 nights). Also, only 1 wash cloth, no tissues & to top it off, we had a barking dog in the room next to us."

"Long beach airport next door and shuttle was quick. M club attendees were great. Main issue I had is requested a late checkout for 1 pm. Left my bags at front desk in case didnt return from program by 1 and left. I returned before Noon and was told I was checked out. I just wanted to go to room and change. Instead used bathroom. Didnt appreciate that level of care."

"For a one-night stay, this property was fine overall, and the staff, especially Mark at the front desk provided excellent customer service. He was professional, understanding, and did his best to explain the situation. That being said, Expedia or Best Western seriously need to correct the room photos being advertised for the standard rooms because they are extremely misleading. The photos shown for the standard room clearly depict a suite-style setup with a separate living area and sofa bed, which is not what was actually provided upon check-in. When I brought this up to Mark, he explained that the photos being displayed on Expedia for the standard room are actually photos of a suite. Unfortunately, by the time we realized this, there were no other rooms available for us to switch into. Had our third guest ended up coming, this would have created a much bigger issue since we were expecting the additional space and sofa bed shown in the listing. The most frustrating part is that the price difference between the standard room and the actual suite was minimal, so accurate advertising would have allowed us to make the correct choice from the beginning. Customers should not have to arrive and discover that the room they booked does not match the photos being used to market it. I hope this issue gets corrected so future guests do not experience the same confusion and inconvenience."

"We, my husband and I found the hotel to be everything we expected from the time we walked into the lobby the first day of 5 days, until the time we left. Staff/front desk/house keeping team were all polite and courteous. The free & wonderful breakfast was great.! Your style and cleanliness and comfort are hard to find in most hotels without paying a mortgage bill. We’ve frequented just about all your hotels for years & have always been well pleased. Thank you Ayres, keep it going!"

"Great place to stay rooms cleaned every day great breakfast always clean inside and out only complaint i would have is employees take all parking spots close to main entrance (Lobby) and I am in the room next main lobby have to park across the parking lot"
