"We had a lovely stay at Residence Sophia. We were given a lovely greeting and help with our bags. The cabin was exactly as advertised -clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The grounds were well maintained with very nice landscaping. The two swimming pools were brilliant, warm, clean and not crowded. Résidence Sophia is also in a great location for exploring the island easily via the T10. Thank you for a wonderful stay! "

"La struttura è un po’ spartana, poco accessoriata e poco curata. La zona è distante dal centro cittadino, ma raggiungibile in 3 min d’auto. Pulizia al limite della decenza, polvere ovunque e stoviglie trovate sporche, bagno peggio che mai! Odore sgradevole. Letto scomodissimo, c’era un materasso della “seconda guerra mondiale”. "The room we had was overlooking the port with a large balcony. It was uphill so we had a good passaggiata walking to town for dinner and back. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry luggage up a winding wooden staircase. There is an upper parking lot where you can put your luggage to avoid the staircase if the fire door is open."

"Great hotel, with an amazing breakfast and nice beach. Room is quite small and beach is private and nice but there are definitely better beaches within driving distance. Staff is so friendly and welcoming. Need a car to drive to dining and shopping. Pizza restaurant on property was amazing btw, best pizza we ever had!"

"Beautifully renovated room and bathroom, very clean, comfy bed and sheets. Lovely little balcony. Kitchenette was fully equipped. Highlight was the gorgeous pool, with loungers! Breakfast was included, though it was the the same everyday,it was good. Staff were accommodating and very helpful. Use of A car would be recommended to stay here. The on site restaurant was so so….it would have been good to easily dine in Palau .There are only 6 taxis in Palau, and they charge 25€ for the 5 km trip into town. The value for the price we paid was excellent though. "

"Location and beach was amazing. The room was clean and very nice, but the property was very dirty and some areas looks like a third world country. There is a wedding party that had a DJ with loudspeakers that went on until 2:30 in the morning. I at least would’ve expected them to have a 11 PM sound limit or something like that. The food was fine, but was only limited to one restaurant as the other ones needed to be booked ahead of time and the other two were closed for private events. There’s a hole in the fence and you can go to another restaurant at a different resort if you’re looking for different food options. I’m guessing this resort just needs more cleaning staff "
