"We stayed at Old Posting Inn for 2 nights as wanted to explore the lake District area. We wanted a quiet, quaint village as our base, and the Inn was perfect for our needs. The dinner was excellent and the hosts were lovely. The location itself is15 mins from Cockermouth town centre, 30-40 mins from Kewsick, and 45 mins from Buttermere. All in all, it was a perfect holiday for us, and we will come again!"

"Great hotel to stay in with a beautiful atmosphere and an amazing view from the room. The staff were lovely, friendly, and always helpful, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The pool and hot tub were very good — clean, relaxing, and perfect after a long day. The room itself was comfortable, spacious, and well maintained. "The 3 course meal was al a carte status, excellent made by chef/ owner. Lovely bedrooms and v clean and owners very welcoming. Lovely views and walks nearby. For children the wildlife park is worth a visit nearby. "
