"The hotel is lovely, clean and in a great location. There is currently construction on the street blocking access to the hotel. This was not disclosed at booking. The front desk did not answer the phone while we figured it out nor did they seem to care."

The rooms are quite small, so great for a one or two night stay but no longer and for the price I would have expected proper cups for hot drinks and glassware and to have the tea caddy redone when the room was getting cleaned. Hotel is quite noisy, all sounds within the hotel seem to carry and the doors slamming was both heard and felt when lying in bed. Breakfast was just basic. First morning apparently no chef working so no hot options only continental. Second morning with a chef so we were able to order hot food. "I like the secure lift, the clean room, the daily fresh towel provision, and the quiet room. The layout, though compact, was useful. A large person would have a hard time getting around the foot of the bed past the TV to get to the other side of the bed. I had a learning curve with the A/C but eventually figured it out sufficiently. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bar staff had a hard time keeping up with food and drink orders on a Saturday afternoon though it was not crowded. ...
