"Although the staff was friendly upon check in, the hotel itself was below par. The hallway smelled terrible of cigarrete smoke and mold. They tried to mask it with a irvfrshener which woukd fade away shortky after spraying. We had torn , ripped and dirty towels in our room. The a/c did not work at all. Also they charged my mother for 2 extra hand towels they accused her of stealing. Mind you my mother has stage 4 cancer and we needed extra towels because she was feeling ill. All towels were rinsed and left in the room. "

"Hotel is conveniently located to shopping and points of interest in Gainesville. Location is quiet. It is an older facility with few amenities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. "
