"The Inn employees were extremely hospitable and friendly 😊 The room was lovely, and fairly quiet, even though it was the only room located on the first floor. Parking is convenient, and a short walk from the front door there is a fire pit with a sitting area on the property. We did hear some of the other guests arrive back to the Inn later at night. And with the stairs to the 2nd floor being right next to our room, the Victorian, we did hear guests bump their luggage up and down the stairs....

"The Mill Street Inn is perfectly located for seeing Newport. The Inn is located one block from great restaurants and shops on Thames. If you walk two blocks the other direction you are at the Tram stop to take you out to Cliff Walk and the Gilded Age mansions. The staff was courteous and friendly. We were given maps and advise on dining out. The breakfast is delicious. We will always choose Mill Street Inn when coming to Newport."

"This resort is a hidden secret compared to all the brand name hotels around the area like Marriott. This was well worth it, and we loved the spacious suite the resort is close to everything walking distance to thames Street just a stone throw away !! "

"We stayed here for two nights for a wedding. The staff were helpful. Parking is an excellent benefit. Everything is in easy walking distance. The continental breakfast was a bonus and quite a surprise with excellent coffee, fresh pastry assortment and bagels but the fresh fruit was a nice way to start the day. Very very quiet. Nice touch with fresh cookies at the desk when you wanted just a little snack. I will definitely stay again! "

"We spent 2 nights at the Inn. The location was so perfect - we were able to walk to the Wharf area for activities and restaurants but also was far enough away from how busy that area can be on weekends. There is a coffee place just down the block but not really needed as the breakfast at the inn was delicious. The onsite parking was so convenient. Liz was so welcoming and made us feel at home. We were in the first floor room which had a huge bathroom and shower and the bed was very comfy. ...
