"Host Colin made us feel welcome straight away and was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Guest rooms have everything you'd need for a short break, The rate included a lovely freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of choices and a homemade granola and berry compote to start with, fresh pots of coffee and toast. "First time staying here and we weren’t disappointed. Room was spacious and airy , bed very comfortable. Welcome pack was good. Shower was great and bathroom was immaculate. "Beautiful property. Sheep, fruit, and vegetable farms all around. Staff super nice. Had the ability to grill our own food and have a fire to sit around and enjoy the beautiful weather we had way into the night. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. Play area for the kids. This is by far our favorite place so far on our two week trip around the UK. "

"We had a lovely one night stay here (wish it was longer). The staff were so welcoming and helpful. We dined in the restaurant for dinner and the food was delicious. "I booked a Deluxe apartment. I didnt realise it would be seperate to the hotel. We were disappointed with the bathroom as we were expecting a bit of luxury at the price per night. Instead we had bathroom suitable for disabled access. One of the reclining chairs had bare wires hanging out. There were 3 of us but only towels for 2 people.
