"We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was conveniently located near many great areas. The room was clean, and the staff was extremely nice. We would stay here again."

"We had two rooms on different floors, one was in better shape than the other. The rooms were big, but the reading lights by the bed were to far from the -comfortable - bed, so didn’t fit the purpise. There was an easy chair by the window, but no table next to it to put a glass or cup. No rack or hook in the bathroom for the lovely big and fluffy towel. So good, but annoying details that weren’t right. Housekeeping wasn’t really good, either, coffee or tea not replaced, toiletries missing or not replaced, bath tub not cleaned in 4 days"

"Just an amazing stay! The staff was so helpful and personable from the time we made our reservation. The 6-7pm wine/social time was the icing on the cake. Even though the hotel is located in a very active nightlife area, we never were awakened (or even heard) any noise at all! Walkable to shopping, Albert Dock, several great restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay here again when in Liverpool."

"The property was easy to find. Everything was very clean but the bathroom needed some maintenance. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. There's clearly a problem with the heating/water system. In the winter months the room would be perfect. In the heat we've had this summer, it was far too hot."

"On the plus side, the reception staff are very helpful, and the room was basic and clean -all I needed for a single night. Due to previous reviews, I was prepared for the noise of the nearby club, and it ended up not bothering me so much. The problem was that the noise didn't end there. There were the loud party goers returning home at 4am, followed by the sweeping lorry, followed by the beer delivery lorry for the club at about 5:30 am which involved more than a half hour of metal beer casks being scraped along the pavement. None of this is the hotel's fault, and people who are heavy sleepers should absolutely not be put off, as the hotel IS decent. I myself will likely find a quiter spot next time."
