"I stayed at Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lubbock during a very busy weekend while George Strait was in town for his big concert and I have to say, they handled the surge of guests extremely well. Even with the hotel fully booked and the city packed, the staff remained friendly, professional, and organized. "Completely being redone. Lights didnt work, no Ice, no chair in room,etc. Yes they are going to update the property. In 6 it will probably be acceptable. Right now find somewhere else. Not a good place to stay but with George Strait playing this weekend the best value for the trip."

"Shower needs a good scrub there was built up soap scum all over the walls and on the floor. Beds ere a little harder than we liked. And pool closing at 9pm was a downer for we traveled for 13 hrs and was looking forward to setting in the hot tub. "

"The elevators weren't working so we had to go up 3 flights with stairs with suitcases, bags, etc. Our water in the sink didnt work. Had to use bathtub to wash hands, brush teeth,, etc... Blowdryer didnt work, had to run to Walmart to get one as we were trying to get ready for the George Strait concert. We paid $400+ for a one night stay, and I understand the cost increased because of the concert but for that price I feel like there was a lot that went wrong."

"I booked a room in advance. The description of the room was appealing. When I entered late in the evening nobody was at the desk. I knocked on the desk and spoke but there was no reply.
