"The room was very nice and clean. There was a lot of parking in the back. It was an easy drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. There are also lots of restaurants close to the place."

We had to wait 20 minutes for her to answer the phone several times, then stay on another call to help someone plan a trip 2 weeks from now. The location is convenient and our room was ok, but the bathroom had a sliding door with no locking mechanism, which is quite ridiculous when there is a family staying in the room. When I emailed the property twice about this, both emails were ignored. Similarly, I messaged them with a request for "late" checkout (11 am, since their checkout is a ridiculously early 10 am), I received no response."

"It was unusual not to meet the owners, I could have walked and knocked on the owners door if I needed anything but would have felt like I was intruding.
