"Really enjoyed my stay. Large double room, with a very comfortable bed and good shower. They even added a fan as it was hot weather, a nice touch. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Great pub downstairs, with a good, varied evening menu, and the cooked breakfast was lovely too. Only niggle, was that breakfast was served in the pub, which wouldn't be a problem if the tables had been wiped down properly the night before - a bit sticky to be eating your breakfast at! All in all, a great place and I wouldn't think twice about staying again if I go back to Corbridge, which I hope I manage to do, as it's a wonderful place."

"Our room over looked the road on the hill, the floor sagged when you stood on it near the window and the Bathroom door didnโt close, itโs an old building so didnโt mind much as the comfy bed compensated for it, Breakfast was good and the Bar had a nice Atmosphere, I couldnโt get parked out side the b&b so had to park at the bottom of the hill, not too clever if youโre infirm."

"What a beautiful hotel. Our room was stunning.. really wasnโt expecting such a lovely room. Food in the hotel was amazing, and so well presented. The breakfast omelette was the nicest Iโve had away. Staff are lovely.. so friendly and helpful. Lovely walks from the doorstep."

"Just stayed at the wheatsheaf Hotel in Corbridge, Northumberland! Very comfortable, good food and very helpful, friendly staff! Very well priced, and would definitely stay there again!!"

"The hotel is a bit dated. The shower was poor. The TV kept freezing (Internet tv). When there is a wedding, people kept parking in the room space. The staff were really helpful and very accommodating. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful"

"Unfortunately we stayed in room 19 which has a smelly drain problem & room next door was only separated from us by a mattress standing in the adjoining doorway, after reporting the drain problem we were given a different room which was perfect, thanks to the staff for their quick response. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which consisted of a tasty meat pie & chips which were covered in salt!! I like salt myself but these were extremely salty making most of them left on my plate, I was asked if there was a problem with my meal & when told about the Chips I was informed that the chef usually puts the salt on.....why? I presume this was why no condiments were on the table. The breakfast was okay, lots of choice but ours was overcooked & bacon frazzled we guessed this was due to a lack of staff as they were slow to take orders etc because there were only 3 of them & appeared to be rushed off their feet. We would stay there again as its a lovely building & staff pleasant and welcoming."
