Like in a Movie

This is the perfect place for a true Roman experience. The building has all the characteristics of a good old local house within an iconic area. You'll fall in love as soon as you cross the main entrance. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Stefano is very kind and would make everything to ensure an enjoyable stay. Francesco helped with the check-in and answered all the questions before I would asked them The location is very central and perfect. The best way to enjoy all the big and little secrets that Rome has to offer is to walk. And it can be easily done from this place. I live abroad but was born and bred in Rome. So believe me when I say: this is a true enjoyable experience to a very high standard.

Great stay!

Great location although a bit noisy outside during the night. Room exactly as shown in pictures, both the bathroom and the room big and comfy. Sofa bed a bit rough but bed ok. Daily cleaning room was mentioned in the booking reservation but turned out to be incorrect. Stefano was quick to respond about it and kind to offer a partial reimbursement. Days prior to arrival he contacted me with full details as to how to get there by public transport from the airport, and offered help if any question or inquiry from my end. I recommend the place and I’d happily return.

Great location for exploring Rome

The apartment is in a great location for exploring Rome, with good public transport links. The condition of the apartment is good overall. My only suggestion for improvement would be comfortable seating, the current chairs in the living/dining area are very hard and not somewhere to relax after a day of sightseeing. Apart from this everything was very good.

Muy buena opción en barrio tradicional de Roma

Si quieres vivir la realidad de un barrio tradicional Romano, este es el sitio , es turístico por sus restaurantes, especialmente el fin de semana, la zona puede dar una mala primera impresión, pero es muy segura y hay transporte público cerca, el Departamento es muy cómodo y grande, ningun problema en el check in, constante comunicación con Stefano el dueño, lo recomiendo.

I had a terrible experience in this hotel, a term I use quite loosely here. Firstly, I was moved from a double bed to a single bed after my first night there, even though I had paid for the double room.When I brought this to the attention of the owner, he became rude and aggressive. In both rooms most light fixtures didn't work, nor did the fans (and it was HOT! When I asked for a new one to be brought up, it took an entire day and the second fan didn't work, either), the upholstery was torn, the beds were incredibly uncomfortable, and I GOT BED BUGS. It was disgusting. I recommend you do not stay here.

El piso es fantástico, la finca es preciosa, con un patio interior con plantas muy agradable. Está muy bien ubicado ( pude andar a todos los lados que quería ver ). Stefano es muy servicial , esta dispuesto a contestar todas tus dudas en poco tiempo. Está disponible mediante el teléfono y mail. el wi fii me funcionó perfectamente. estuvimos muy a gusto con mi pareja, todo estaba muy limpio, y en la cama se duerme muy bien, es muy cómoda y caben dos perfectamente. Words can't express how appreciative I am of the staff and owner of this hotel. The owner Stefano went out of his way to ensure my stay was comfortable. Very accomodating in allowing me to check in early even though I asked last minute. Fast responses and solutions to any questions I had. When I left my phone in the hotel driver's car prior to my flight back to the USA, Stefano organized obtaining my phone and was very kind to ship it back to the USA for me. Traveling is stressful (especially when one loses their phone in another country!) and I am so grateful to have had the help of someone I can trust. The location is fantastic. Close to all the authentic restaurants in Trastevere. Affordable price point for the area. Clean rooms. Do note that the towels are changed ~4 days so don't go through them too quickly! We took Francesco's restaurant recommendations and had the best carbonara we've ever had at Tonarello. When I return to Rome I will stay here again and highly recommend it!

I had an amazing stay, i would definitely stay here again. Only thing that would have made our stay better is a better view outside our window, but I loved the apartment and it was in a great neighborhood.

Excellent accommodation in a great location

This is basically an apartment on the first floor of a block of apartments, with a small and ancient (but working fine) lift. The 3 rooms are each en suite and there is a shared kitchen and dining room - good for self-catering. We had 2 rooms and someone else was in the third. The rooms were clean and in good condition, and we were welcomed and shown round by a very helpful young man. The location is a downtown street in Trastevere, easy walking or tram over the river from the main attractions of the city centre, with two supermarkets nearby and loads of restaurants (we tried a different one each of our 3 nights there and all were excellent - and better prices than across the river!).
