"Too many bugs in the unit. Staff were generally nice, could speak a little more english and be a bit happier in general. The building must be very old because you can hear everything very loudly. Very hard to sleep especially after you see bug and feel them on you. Some of the staff help improve the experience. Location is good as you can walk from one end to the other end of the malecon. "

"The beach view was stunning. Listening to the waves crush from the bed was very relaxing. The property could use some maintenance work. We were disappointed with the “pools” Food at the restaurant was very good Beds were comfortable. The location required walking thru several other properties (sand )or the other way is walking up a very steep hill to reach the road. So be prepared to do a lot of walking"

"Great location! Access to the beach, amazing restaurants! Great view. The beds are full size so smaller than preferred but worth the location. "

"Been here multiple times and will be back in January for 10 days.Started off to rocky start because of an error on my part or expedia which ever it is was but whatever. But the staff I cannot say enough of how they just know how to make it all better. My most memorable moment was when Sandra that cleaned my room every day there. I got very ill for like a day and a half and she came to clean my room and I said please tomorrow. No problem. 2 days later I felt better and put my room together as much as I could cause I dont like to be messy at home or away. I had a bag of like 15 bottles of water and electrolytes that I drank cause thats what I do when i dont feel good. Sandra came to check on me to see if I was okay and needed more water or anything before her day off the next day! WOW moment for me as I am a traveler and have never had someone check on me like that. If she is a Mother or not she made me feel awwww. Ill never forget that and will stay at los arcos for now on. Also the fun bartender I'm sorry I don't remember your name but always great music and smiling and just getting the party started. In January I will get his name and write another. To all the servers bartenders in the restaurant and on the beach or by the pool and the rest of the staff the same. Thank you! Already on the flight home looking forward to coming back. Muchos gracious to all. "

"Breakfast included seasonal fresh fruit and juice and was a nice way to start the day. The hot tub was lukewarm which was actually a perfect temperature as the weather was hot (!!) and a lukewarm dip was most refreshing! "
