Hotel Butik di Rom

"DO NOT RECOMMEND! We had a scary time here and the owner was not helpful and disrespectful. Nobody was on site when we arrived. Owner claims this is because it is a “guesthouse” and not a hotel. So you get a long list of steps to follow to gain entry which is fine. One step is taking the elevator. This is a very small metal elevator that you can see out of. It barely fit 2 slim women with small bags. You need to open 2 doors into the tiny space and then the exterior door has a latch. We got to...

"The hotel was beautiful, and so incredibly restful. Great transport links into Rome. The hotel had a shuttle that would take you into town. Sadly, the shuttle was very very unreliable. You had to book it in advance, and even then, we had to call the hotel several time to get them to pick us up. That was incredibly disappointing. If you don't have a local phone number and have to pay for foreign phone calls, I would not recommend. You will be stuck without a ride."

"We had a wonderful 1 night stay in the family room. There was 1 double and 2 single beds in the one room but we did not feel cramped. The staff at check in were amazing and very helpful with restaurant advice and places to see, making notes on a paper map for us. They were happy to store our bags when we checked out for the day. They provided us with water, juice and yoghurt and had a coffee station in the common area. We would definitely recommend this accommodation."
