"Nice hotel"

"They didn’t give the room we paid for. Tried putting us in a different room, there was nasty black sticky stuff on the floor. The room was disgusting. The whole floor reeks of weed. It was so bad we couldn’t even stay there. We went somewhere else. The front desk lady was super sweet and amazing though. She was the only good thing about it that place."

"This hotel is located right across the street from the Falls Park on the Reedy. The location could not be better for exploring old downtown Greenville and the Reddy River parks. The property is very clean and well kept. Our room was a simple two queen bed space and was pretty large. One gripe with that is that they could have added a sitting chair or small couch so that you did not have to sit on the bed to read or watch TV (there is one desk chair). The rooms have a small fridge, microwave and a clean well stocked bathroom. The free breakfast was good, with a hot egg dish, a meat dish and potatos. A waffle iron is provided as well as pre-made oatmeal and the assortment of breads. A city garage is located directly under the property, which costs $10 per day. There is no parking associated with the hotel. But they do offer a valet service for $18 perday. The city garage is very convenient and it makes it seem that it is part of the hotel. Free parking is pretty rare in any downtown hotel. All of the staff on our three day, two night stay were pleasant and helpful. This hotel is pretty expensive, as are all of the downtown properties. However, I would stay here again "

"The reviews on Expedia do not reflect the true condition of this facility. Starts with the parking lot which very much was filthy and in disrepair. Felt unsafe . The condition of the room was deplorable. The bathroom was dirty, tub floor was blackened and grout was full of mold. The two rooms rented were so bad that we decided to leave after several hours. The thought of staying overnight was no longer an option. While waiting in the lobby we saw homeless come in and it was apparent that they were being housed there on a temporary basis. This definitely was not reflected anywhere in the Expedia ad. "

"Everything was good. Rooms could be a bit cleaner, in particular the floors felt a bit grimy. I would REALLY suggest getting better fridges. Mine didn’t even chill my drinks. "

"The apartment was perfect to stay in and so close to the Riverfront area of Greenville. It was lovely and so very clean. We would defiantly stay there again. The only thing that needs to be addressed is the thermostat needs to be lowered to maybe 70 for when it is warm outside it gets a little warm on the inside with it being set at 73. Also, the bedroom light and the closet light needs to be changed. The toilet was very loud. My husband thinks it could be due to low water pressure or maybe the fill valve is going out in the toilet. But the apartment was wonderful!! "
