The worst experience ever! I make a habit of inspecting hotel room's bed and mattresses before sleeping on them. I did just that in room 127 at Super 8 Rochester, Minnesota on May 22
2025 at which time I didn't see any signs of bed bugs. Then about a week or two later, I started experiencing itching at night on my shoulders and back. At first I thought the itching was a reaction to the detergent I'd brought with me to wash my clothes. Then I began to see stains on my bed linen and welts forming on my back from itching and scratching so much. I then noticed at least two dark bugs on my pillow 06/14/25. I took photos, then with a alcohol soaked tissue squash and wipped bed down with alcohol. On 06/15 I first the Mayo Clinic Urgent Care in HyVee. The nurse practitioner examined my back, took photos then recorded her findings in my patient portal medical records. She recommended over the counter topical ointment, an anti-allergy med and a lotion. While at Walmart I decided to visit the Walmart Pharmacy and consult with a pharmacist on how to get rid of bedbugs. Since the management aI went back to the hotel to report what I had experienced to the hotel manager, Casandra Durnen, and was told by Lucy, the front desk clerk, that Casandra wouldn't be expected until 9:00AM. and that the incident would be reported to pest control would take a few days before they could come out. In the meantime, I'm trying to place my clothes in the dyer at a high temp then wash them
