Room was clean, had iron and hairdryer, the tea, coffee and biscuits was very nice. The bathroom was well lit but shower could have had a power/hard setting.
The staff were attentive and helpful. Swimming pool and thermal facilities were great.

Great facilities, room spotless, good breakfast and a hotel toaster that actually works!
I recently stayed at the Mercure Manchester Norton Grange Hotel & Spa for one night (11–12 April) and had a really enjoyable experience overall.
The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely presented, making for a relaxing stay. One small downside was the bathroom — the sink doesn’t have a mixer tap, so the water runs very hot, which was a bit inconvenient.
Although I didn’t have breakfast during my stay, the highlight for me was definitely the spa. The facilities were excellent, and I easily could have spent much longer there unwinding.
Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely visit again.
The spa area felt quite cold particularly around the pool so not very conducive to relaxing on the sun beds.
The temperature of the pool was quite cool. Best to go in before using any of the thermal journey!
Rooms starting to need redecorating in places and my air conditioning unit in Room 313 was leaking water onto the carpet below.
Breakfast choice was really good and food was hot.
WiFi was very good.
Plenty of free parking at the hotel

Room was tidy, hotel was lovely, the swimming pool facilities were amazing
We disnr stay fir breakfast due to a issue at the hotle on the moening of our departure but that disnt really wpoil our break as our food the night befire was amazinf and the spa was just what was needed
We booked this hotel and saw some of the reviews and were really anxious about what it was going to be like BUT and a big BUT we could not fault the stay whatsoever. Spa area was impressive with lots to offer well kept and clean. We had breakfast and the food was spot on. Staff were all super friendly and polite. The mini fridge was broken but still fully stocked with a vast array of drinks. Honestly you will not be disappointed if you go. I read the pool was could etc and for us it was beautifully warm maybe the other guests came when something was broken who knows but the place is amazing ❤️
Excellent all round from check inn lovely helpful lady on reception. Clean and tidy rooom. Breakfast staff rude and miserable. Breakfast quantity was good quality was just ok at best. Spa swimming pool steam rooms sauna amazing.
Spa amenities were lovely. Very clean and relaxing. Love the sauna pool that opens outside, was lovely just relaxing with the view and the other sauna and steam rooms were very well presented and clean.
The room was cosy and spacious, the beds were comfy. Overall lovely room and lovely hotel, a bit dated but that reflects in the price and although could do with a revamp it was pristine.
Breakfast was lovely, good coffee lots of options for English or continental breakfast lovers equally. We had dinner in the restaurant the first night and it was delicious.
Good sized pool which again was a bit basic HOWEVER the spa was surprisingly nice! 2 different steam rooms, 2 different dry saunas, an ice room and jacuzzi plus swim outside pool. Well equipped gym as well. Absolute treat for the price cannot complain. We’ll visit again!
