"Excellent for the price I paid. Rooms have recently been renovated and it showed. The only niggles were that the extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and probably needs replacing (room 10) and there was no hot water: I tried to have a shower but couldn't: No matter how long you ran the tap for or in which position the water never got warm. "The room was cosy and spacious, the beds were comfy. Overall lovely room and lovely hotel, a bit dated but that reflects in the price and although could do with a revamp it was pristine. Breakfast was lovely, good coffee lots of options for English or continental breakfast lovers equally. We had dinner in the restaurant the first night and it was delicious. Good sized pool which again was a bit basic HOWEVER the spa was surprisingly nice! 2 different steam rooms, 2 different dry saunas, an ice...

"Too many emails with rules and high safety deposit (not advertised earlier on). High expectation from pictures but in reality lacks cleaning and care. The street is dodgy, too dark and quiet and a bit far from city centre (20 min walk). Good price for Manchester though."
