"I was surprised with how far out of the way the cabin was, but it was the most comfortable vacation spot I've ever stayed in."

"Cabin floor dirty - used a-tips, Bobby pins, etc on floor which tells us floor was not cleaned; trails are not easily accessible; felt restaurant food was priced too high. "

"I got checked in no running water at all room i way way outdated went to call front desk and no phone, the line to phone was cut in half the sinks were so cloged and gross and list goes on wouldn't recommend to anyone. "

"Great little property for staying in townsend for a couple days. No frills, great price and very near grocery stores and restaurants. The room was immaculate and well updated for the age of the structure. Its a nice step back into private entry style motels."

"Great location on the lake. My husband and I kayacked, fished, brought our pup along. We enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. The owners were more than welcoming, anticipated our needs before we thought of them. "

"This motel is in a great location for walking around Bryson City. The staff that we interacted with were kind and helpful. Our room was good with enough space to move around and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was relatively updated but kind of small and I can't imagine a larger person being able to get into the shower. And there was no way to just have the light on without the noisy fan. All in all though it was a good affordable place to stay while we explored the area."

"The owners/staff at the Carolina Motel were friendly and helpful. There weren't a lot of upgrades but they weren't needed because everything was clean, comfortable, and in good condition. Since it isn't a huge hotel, it was nice being able to keep my curtains and door open while I was in the room, simply enjoying the outdoor space as well. Coffee was available in the mornings but I rated the amenities as average because there wasn't water in the swimming pool. "
