"Amazing hotel and stunning views"

"We hardly had a wink of sleep in the tiny first floor room we were allocated at this pub (I hesitate to call it an hotel) because of the noise from the lively bar below. Even when the pub emptied some time after midnight the disturbance continued as staff quarters were situated directly above us and, once they left the bar, loudly creaking floorboards continued to keep us awake until much later. But when we went down for Sunday morning breakfast at 9.15 we were told it had finished at 9a.m....

"I had an amazing stay at Hame Hotel on the Isle of Skye. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and well organized, making our stay very easy. The location is stunning and very central for exploring the island. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They have a great common area with an honesty bar that is well stocked. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Skeabost! The bartender, check in staff and wait staff were all very friendly! The view is magnificent and we walked all around the property after breakfast. Babbling brook, abandoned medieval ruins and a 9 hole golf course that is no longer in use. We loved our stay!"

"The Skye Inn was a guesthouse at hotel prices. The restaurant was closed the breakfast while good was slow and the staff in their own words were “distracted” Basically it seemed that the student aged staff were operating the Skye Inn without adult management. Perhaps as the season was just starting they were all new on their jobs but the place missed having an experienced adult in charge"

"Wonderful place, wonderful people. The staff was so friendly and helpful, as were the other guests. The kitchen and common living space were especially spacious and humongously homey. The only downside was that the road near the close-by fairy pools was filled (unfilled?) with potholes- which really has nothing to do with the hostel and I don’t need to note that in this review. 10/10, I’ll definitely be staying here again next I visit Skye- which is ASAFP (As Soon As Financially Possible)."
