"I stay in hotels all the time for work, so like to think I know my stuff. This hotel is brilliant, great price point and great value fro money. The staff excellent, couldn’t be more helpful and pleasant. Evening meal was very good and breakfast was 10/10. Room decor was nice, great size room 10/10 location great. Don’t hesitate to book this super duper hotel."

"Everything was excellent except the room servicing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food and meal service was v good. The only disappointments were the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The room needed vacuuming and the loo and shower needed a good clean. Also, cups, glasses and tea hadn’t been replenished. Oh, and when we returned from sightseeing on Sat evening we couldn’t get a space in the carpark as it was full of pub visitors. Would be good if they had spaces reserved for people staying in their rooms."

"Lovely, homely country pub, with a perfect blend of traditional looking rooms, with plenty of modern furnishings and a luxury feel. Staff were all extremely friendly, from Amy helping with our booking to the serving staff behind the bar and in the morning - everyone was helpful, cheery and friendly. The bonus of continental breakfast included was a lovely touch, including pastries, toasts, ham, cheese, cereals, yoghurt, granola and fruit. Would absolutely recommend and happily stay here again. "

"Food was amazingly, Sunday roast was the best ive ever had. Owners, Ann and Andrew went above and beyond to make our stay really enjoyable. Ollie and Tess were also amazing. Nothing was to much trouble for any of them. Made you feel so welcome. Really enjoyed our stay and will definately go back again. Good location for exploring the Cotswolds. 10 out of 10 all round. "Great location for exploring Burford. Hotel rooms are lovely but some areas a little tired. Unfortunately we had slightly louder guests above our room and footsteps/talking can be heard pretty clearly. Other than that the food was lovely in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and staff very friendly and welcoming. "
