In 1211 the Livonian Bishop Albert of Riga ordered to build this cathedral near the River Daugava. It is considered the largest medieval🛡️ church⛪ in the Baltic States. It is also known for its Rooster🐓 or weathercock. ⛪Spire of St. Saviour's Anglican Church (Latvian:Anglikāņu Sv. Pestītāja baznīca). It is Anglican church⛪, located in the north of the old town centre. The foundation stone was laid in 1857 and the church⛪ was dedicated on 26 July 1859. During the Soviet occupation the church had not use, and in 1973 it became the home of Riga Polytechnic Institute student club👨‍👨‍👧‍👧. In 1991, after latvian independence, and English-speaking congregation🛐 was again formed. 🏛️Riga City Council Tower (Latvian: Rīgas Dome).
