"Our first time staying here. We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the heads up on A55 problems and that there was a silent fan in our comfortable bedroom on one of the warmest days of the year. The evening meal and breakfast were very good too. We will be back."

Jan, the owner, was extremely hospitable, giving us plenty of helpful information about the area, alternative parking places when not being able to park outside the property and how everything worked at Victoria House. Back of property attached to city wall and view of Menai Strait. Fresh milk, snacks, fridge and microwave in room, with lovely Port Merion crockery. Large lounge and dining area for guests downstairs with invitation to bring food or take aways...

"Everything great apart from room temperature lack of ventilation.windows did not open enough. Were given a small table fan which didn't help much. So had two uncomfortable nights. No aircon but ceiling fan would have been a help."

"The hotel was easy to find, being opposite the Railway Station and therefore an easy walk into the city centre. Car parking on site. There was no noise from the road outside and I could see the sea in the distance from my bedroom. Excellent cooked breakfast !"
