"Checked in late and Emil working the front desk was marvelous. Had to shift the date of our rooms (two) because of flight changes. Due to my error, one of the rooms wasn't shifted. "What’s not to love? Everything about our stay was amazing! Check in was fast and easy, staff very friendly and helpful. Lobby is beautiful, we loved the fireplace. Room was perfect- clean, comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed, including a hot water maker and fridge. We especially loved the heated rooftop pool. The hotel is an easy walk to the main road where a bunch of local restaurants are, and they also have their own fantastic restaurant. We had an early flight the next day, and appreciated that they were able to shuttle us to the airport at 4:30am. If there were two things that would’ve made our stay better, it would’ve been if they could also offer a shuttle from the airport (it cost us about $40 USD to get a taxi for the 5 minute ride from the airport to the hotel), and available laundry facilities would’ve been helpful. But overall we loved our stay there, and would absolutely stay there again the next time we’re in Iceland!"
