"Wonderful and would highly recommend to others!"

"This place is BRAND NEW! GREAT way to spend a night. It's like the world's best modular container home. We arrived late (10pm) and were able to get into our "home" using the code on the door. Very straight forward. What I did not appreciate was the laundry list of what we had to do: make our own bed at 10 pm, next day put away the bed (it's a couch) and take trash out, start dishwasher, etc etc etc. I am on vacation, I can do chores back home. "Great spot with modern architecture and updated amenities. Wonderful breakfast buffet — a bunch of continental and American/English style choices. Beds comfortable, bathroom stylish with a fantastic shower. Comfy lounge/bar area. Would stay again if back in these parts"

"The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet in the morning was also excellent. The hotel itself is a bit secluded which I enjoyed, and the closest town, Selfoss, is about 15-20min drive so be mindful of that if you prefer to be somewhere that’s walkable to Selfoss. Overall it’s a great location. Very scenic and easy access to the Golden Circle and South Coast, and just 1-hour outside of Reykjavik if you want to visit the city."

"Very unresponsive. Tried to call them and message them almost 50 times to change checkin date. Expedia was unsuccessful in contacting them. Finally when they answered they said they will not change the date."

"The goods: the lady let us check in 1 hr earlier, the property was cleaned and well maintained. The horse farm is very nice and the horses are super friendly and cute. The bad: the temperature downstairs (living room and kitchen) was very hot without any way to turn it down. We opened the window in the bedroom upstairs but that brought 100s of bugs that were biting us. Between the very uncomfortable temperature and the bugs it was a very bad night. "We stayed just for one night erupts to Vik. Nice property, close to Selfoss, reasonably priced for Iceland prices. Kitchen is well equipped. Many other facilities such as hot tub, on site cafe etc which we couldn’t use due to lack of time. Highly recommended for visiting National park, Geysir and Gullfoss waterfalls."

"I wish I could have stayed more nights at South Central Guesthouse. This was easily one of the best guesthouses we stayed at during our trip to Iceland. The cabins are located right off the main road near a small grocery store and other restaurants which was convenient. It is perfectly situated if you are planning to see Golden Circle sites.
