"We booked a pool villa which was spacious and allowed for an extra bed and selerate room for our teenage son. The villa was clean with good amenities, the pool was nice for cooling off when the main pool was busier but was a little small. The main pool area was lovely and warm with view of the lake and much needed lake breeze. There isn't much in walking distance but the main attraction is the lake and views. "A great heritage place to stay for a few days of exploring Alleppy, beaches and the backwaters, located across a local road by the massive beach. Hotel is a lovely well maintained old traditional building with a swimming pool and restaurant. Paid a bit more for a large traditional room with a large shared lounge and outside seating area next to the pool. "A comfortable stay with really good food! The 2 bedroom suites are great when you’re traveling with family, as there is a large living area to get together. The only problem we encountered was with extremely loud music coming from an adjoining property. I guess there was very little our hotel could do about that!"
