"The hotel is generally very good, except not close to the city centre for tourists, though metro is nearby.
Also, at the main entrance, we did not see any clear sign that there is a street-level entry (for anyone does not want to climb the many stairs). We actually carried two 20kg luggages up the stairs when checking in. We noticed the side entance later on during the stay."

"Great location and beautifully designed but it is 6 months old! No one to help us with our luggage upon arrival at the front door (around 5pm on a Friday), no signs to guide us to the reception area that was on another floor. The room (207), absolutely not worth the price as it was the size of a shoe box for 2 adults with 2 suitcases. No night stands, no charging outlets and no proper space for 2 luggage racks. It was the most uncomfortable room I have ever stayed in!"

"This is a beautiful hotel, if you enjoy authentic Spanish architecture, classic style rooms, but with modern updates where needed then I would highly recommend you stay here. Very quiet, super friendly staff, in a somewhat out of the way/non touristy part of the city that gives you the authentic Madrid living experience, however it was still only about a half hour walking distance of all the major sites."

"Good central location - good cafes and restaurants nearby, and short walk from a metro station, but right opposite a hospital so quite a few ambulance sirens, but it didn't disturb our sleep!
Great views from the roof terrace were a bonus!"
