"There was no check in from housekeeping to see if I needed anything. I ran out of the water. I would have liked to have more of that. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall. The vending machine on my floor was hard to use. I don't like the fact you have to pay 2.00 to take your food to the room. My trash was overflowing and since no housekeeping, it just built up. "We had a wonderful time while we were there. You can tell that the Argo Inn is an older property however we still enjoyed our stay. The river that ran behind our room, Clear Creek, was very calming. Idaho Springs is such a quaint town. The mix of mountains, river and trees was picturesque; I wish we would've stayed longer! Our only concern was our bathroom door. It was not level so we had to pull extra hard to shut but other than that, no complaints. We will definitely still recommend to...

"2026/June. What a nice stay! Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. Room was large (2 queen beds, kitchen) and had everything we needed. Beds were a bit soft for us but still comfortable. Pillows were great!! Shower was small but excellent water pressure! 100% fabulous! AC unit worked well though a bit loud. However we were able to sleep well! Building is out dated but lots of renovations being done. Prices reasonable and best value in Idaho Springs!! Conveniently located next to...

"Amazing stay, Owner was very helpful and gracious. Was clean and updated! I recommend the evening 4 course meal as well as breakfast. Take the St Marys glacier trail....just a short 20 min walk from the lodge to the trailhead. Incdedible view of the glacier and apline lake."

"The place is right next to the lake and has a beautiful lakeside view. It’s also conveniently located right next to a restaurant/brewery.
