"So the other hotels are probably closer to the shopping, but Zermatt is a small city so you can pretty much walk anywhere. Both of our rooms have balconies with views of the Matterhorn. breakfast was included and was a great breakfast. Since there’s no AC, we just opened the door and found a way to prop the ceiling window open in the bathroom (I think we were on the top floor). "This location is excellent and the train station is across the street, (I never heard the train). The green line bus stop is about a 30 second walk, while the heart of downtown is located a couple of minutes from this hotel. The rooms were clean and my hostel bed was configured in such a way that it was very private. I would stay here again!"

"We stayed at Phoenix Hotel for two nights. It’s conveniently positioned but in a very quiet area. The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. The staff were v friendly and a highlight was the breakfast which was fresh and generous! Overall a great place to stay when in Zermatt!"
