"Parking valet seems expensive until you try to find parking elsewhere and realize it's even more expensive to park in one of the decks overnight. The breakfast and happy hour wine/cheese was a really fun thing to do each day during transition hours. The room upstairs is so nice with great views. Everyone was very friendly. The location cannot be beat. "

"Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Restaurant and courtyard were great to eat, drink, do a little work and get some sun. Gym is adequate for a quick workout. Walking distance to the harbor, bay, and all the great food and drink in town along, with historical sights. Staff was great."

"Had a fantastic girls weekend in Charleston, and the hotel was key in that. The location was perfect. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool is luxurious. The restaurant was totally happening, and it had great drink options. Ee never heard the neighbors. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to purchase a girls getaway package that included a bottle of bubbles, a charcuterie board, in room massages, and gift certificates to local businesses. "

"We needed to stay one night at a reasonable rate in Charleston. It is very simple, but the staff and the rooms were perfect, and the breakfast amenities and fresh tea and water were much appreciated. Exceeded expectations "

"Room was spacious and well appointed. Matress was decent, but needs updating. Rooftop pool and var were nice, but the drinks are watered down. Staff was very nicee and responsive. Overall nice hotel in good location "

"We paid about 600.00 per night for the "city view" and our view was the back of the property, complete with 5 open dumpsters and a parking garage. Otherwise, the stay was really nice and the location is great."

"The location of the Hampton Inn is fantastic. About a 20 min walk to downtown and 10-15 minutes in any direction gets you plenty of restaurants. The hotel is right across from the main pick-up stop for the free shuttle that takes you to all the main places. The breakfast was ok. Normal hotel fare. The staff, especially the front desk were top notch! Very helpful and kind. Our room had an issue with getting the AC to run correctly. We froze a lot!
