"Great little place to stay. A rental car or scooter is recommended and I would for sure do that next time though I was able to walk to the grocery store and restaurant!I would go there again!"

Pension les 3 cascades

Pension les 3 cascades

10/10 Excellent
"There was Wi-Fi but it was not very fast in individual rooms. The kitchen was large and clean, with every pot, pan, plate, and spoon you could want. There was an electric kettle and some basic food supplies like ground coffee, tea, sugar, and salt. The free laundry machine worked well and there was plenty of space to hang up close to dry for free. The front desk offered wide variety of tours, and we took a half day walking tour to see the nearby three waterfalls, which was safe, and very enjoyable. There was room to put your own food in storage and in a large refrigerator. The property has a couple of dogs and a cat that were nice to pet. The staff was very helpful."

"I canโ€™t say enough about the hospitality extended to us by Michel, the proprietor. He was so kind, and really made us feel at home. The shared space in the kitchen was really fun. We enjoyed the opportunity to be to meet and talk with other guests. Come here if you want a very comfortable place to relax without the corporate polish of other resorts. Michel gave us a great restaurant recommendation: we loved dinner at the Opoa Beach restaurant, just a short drive down the road. It was one of the most delightful dining experiences Iโ€™ve ever had. While here, we snorkeled, sat on comfortable beach chairs, and could have kayaked if we had not been so busy relaxing. Merci Michel!"

Apatoa Beach and Garden Village

Apatoa Beach and Garden Village

10/10 Excellent
"I admit, when in FP I want the 5 star overwater bungalow experienceโ€ฆbut we were blown away by the design, attention to detail and beauty of our room at Apatoa! Pinned as โ€œGlampingโ€ due to the structures it was anything but! On entering our room we were met with a five star interior! The pool is lovely, as was our private pool on the deck overlooking the lagoon. There is a beautiful fish filled reef just at the end of the dock. You can swim for hours with the fish, right out your front door! Dinners were impressive and the owners accommodating and friendly. The Island of Raiatea is laid back and peaceful. We highly recommend a visit to this hotel!"

Hava'i Lodge

Hava'i Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay at Havai'i lodge. It's a beautiful and quiet property in a cul-de-sac and the place is comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. It's shared with another room, but since we were out and about all day and only had our coffee and breakfast at the place, it wasn't a problem. We recommend having a car on Raiatea as it's much easier to get around this beautiful island. The host helped arrange a car for us, which was nice."
