The water sports team was so nice, one gentleman who competes in the outrigger team accompanied me on my 1st outrigger ride to show me the ropes. "I have traveled throughout the world and have stayed in over 30 resorts. Royal Bora Bora, by far is the worst place we've ever stayed in. None of the staff made it welcoming. The food was disgusting and the bar was out of half the drinks we would order. This resort definitely needs to re-train their staff on hospitality, unless you're French, then you're good but if you're an American forget it, DO NOT STAY HERE! We visited from Mexico but because we spoke English, we were treated differently...

Also the most happening restaurant next door plus rental car and scooter walking distance. Marita beach is the best spot in Bora Bora, and this hotel is the best priced"

"The property is maintaining over 13 years since our first visit, but the staff is a bit less invested in making things happen and the little sweet are lacking (no flowers on arrival etc). TV didn’t work and couldn’t get put away, no coffee machine just a water kettle …). The mini pools are a nice addition. Breakfast was limited, but dinner was fine. Excellent poisson cru. It still is the best place on Huahine and ok for the price."
