"It was close to a lot of Alamo Heights which has lovely shopping and excellent restaurants. It is affordable and clean and adjacent to my favored parts of the city. Those seeking closeness to the SA most famous attractions might find it remote"

"Very nice owners and clean room. No bugs, no roaches. None. The only bad thing is the pet fee. Staying here a week and they charge $30 a day for two cats. That gets expensive! Our room does not at all smell like cats. My wife got a small mop from the store and mops twice a day to keep everything very clean. We believe it is important to leave a room cleaner than when ypu came. A few other things that were undesirable was some homeless guy running back and fourth on the sidewalk next to the motel...

"Great location. We were in town for Fiesta, and the place was perfect to go to all the festivities. Walking distance to good food. The address was a little confusing, but all worked out in the long run. A little cramped for two people getting ready for formal events. Would be great for a TDY or place to stay for a while on business. Laundry facility was a bonus! "

"I love the pool, and aesthetically, the Ranch Motel is perfect. I have a nostalgic attachment. The beds however are not comfortable, there was no food available during my stay, the bartender told me to door dash. No coffee in the am, no TV in room, or refrigerator. I had to keep getting ice for my medication and if the bar was closed no ice was available. "

"We stayed at this hotel for a few days and everything was great. The room was clean and the staff was beyond excellent and helpful. A very special shout out to Erica at the front desk who was extremely helpful during a stressful time trying to get to our daughter's graduation. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a affordable hotel within reasonable distance to many attractions. I only wished the pool was opened we wanted a quick dip but couldn't. Other wise great hotel stay. "

"Clean rooms. Very nice staff. Guests were very loud outside the rooms in the hallways but it’s likely the hotel design with courtyard and veranda like hallways for our area of the room, so we could hear guests on ground level in courtyard and in veranda parts of the hotel late at night. Otherwise no other issues. Will stay again. "
