We saw monkeys, a sloth, lizards and many different types of birds, which made the experience feel especially unique. "Lovely atmosphere with private feel yet still very close to beach and park. Breakfast on site was good and many places to eat within walking distance. The nature walk on property feels more 'jungle' then the trails in the park itself. We had two rooms side by side which worked well for our family of four. Pool area is very nice with shaded palapas. Trail at end of parking lot to beach which is flat and off the main road. Highly recommend if you want a smaller, quiet resort within easy walking...

"Breakfast and the pool area were great. Location was great. Staff was very friendly. The room was just OK. Do not like air conditioner blowing on the bed should be located away from the bed. Rooms were musty. Didn't like the barn door to bathroom that was hard to move and the location of the room in back by the woods and couldn't use the patio because of the rain. Other rooms could still use their patio."

"The staff here are so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very spacious. We really enjoyed our stay and sitting on their beautiful back porch watching the spider monkeys play. The breakfast is made to order and very good. The only down side I would say is the road they are located on is busy so you do hear traffic noise."

"Lovely stay at the Gaia Hotel. The location is ideal and the staff was very helpful. The restaurant was excellent and accommodated my gluten issue. Gorgeous sunset views from the bar at the top of the resort. Because the resort ascends up the hill, there are lots of stone tile steps that can be tricky to navigate. Watch your step.
