We were on the third floor. The room was spotless. We knew about the 3 flights of stairs when we booked, and did not find it too much with a good flat space to ealk between flights. We did not see staff until the last day and were 4 minutes late leaving, but were not rushed, the person there to clean was very friendly. I LOVE this apartment and 1000% would live in it. Imagine the story of the woman who loses eveything and has to rebuild... she finds a small apartment to find herself in. If that were ever me, this is the one I would want. Small but liveable, a peaceful sanctuary. With allergies and being women in a city very far from home, that this apartment does not allow pets or unregistered guests was very reassuring. The two bonuses... 1) if weather had been poor, there is a Subway restaurant downstairs wirhout having to go outside. 2) it is close EVERYTHING. A block from the river view. Up the stairs from the Fort wall and the lower city. 1 block from Laval University, 2 blocks from the Fairmont, tobaggan hill, and funicular, and across the street from the Basillica. Highly recommended!
