Once of the worst hotel experience we had, after booking a reservation for 4 nights a paying over $300 CAD a night. First we arrived at the hotel and they didn’t allow us to pay in cash since the hotel staff was in strike and they weren’t taking cash; second we arrived at the room and they cleaning was very poor, then we tried to use the safe box and wasn’t working, when we ask they said because the strike all the safe were out of service, every time we came down to ask something at the front desk nobody was there, body came to clean the room or at least restock the washroom; if a strike is going on and you can fulfill the hotel duties inform the guest, offer a discount or close the hotel; don’t recommend to stay here after paying a lot for this; we leave very disappointed

This property has locked out their employees and is not notifying guests. I would never have stayed here if I had known. This is inexcusable.

The Hotel is starting to show some wear and tear issues. Staff was very nice and the rotating restaurant was fantastic.

Terrible experience. Room was dirty when I arrived, no housekeeping or room service due to a strike (which they never told me before booking). Staff promised me a partial refund, but after checkout they refused and denied ever saying it. Had to clean and take out trash myself on vacation. Dishonest and unprofessional wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

L’hôtel est présentement en lock out: il n’y a pas de personnel pour faire le ménage, etc. ni de services et l’hôtel manquait d’entretien de façon générale. Il est toutefois très bien situé et a de très belles vues sur la ville.

It’s a nice ‘dated’ hotel that’s needs work. The ceiling and one wall in our room had bad water damage that should have been long repaired. We also found the hotel noisy. Very thin walls and doors.

Rooms are large and clean but dates no house keeping at all during our stay Perfect area for restaurants Hotel breakfast restaurant was very good and great prices Restaurant had good staff but the rest of the hotel check-in checkout etc was non existent

Wir hatten drei Nächte und leider wurde da vom Reinigungspersonaö gestreikt. Wir mussten unsere Hanstücher jeden Tag an der Rezeption abholen. Zimmer bzw Hotel wurde gar nicht gereinigt. Lage war ok, Ausstattung gut. Ansonsten leider ziemlich veraltet und Bad hatte ziemlich viel silikonschimmel.

Room furniture was completely inadequate. We were given a room without any chairs to sit beyond the work desk chair. After complaining, we were told that some rooms were missing furniture because of recent renovations. We were then offered another room with two kitchen style chairs and a small ridiculous side table. Maintenance staff were also on strike. So there was no room service during our three day stay. No compensation were offered for the inconveniences.

Hotel was under construction; valet service was on strike and looks like housekeeping on strike also. Didn't have towels in the room, and the safe in the room was not functioning. Didn't see any housekeeping service during the entire stay.

While the hotel was nice, its age was definitely showing - upgrading everything would help. Many of the staff was on strike, but the remaining staff did well. We liked the many choices for outside dining, and we especially like the restaurant Cochon downstairs. Ciel, the rotating restaurant on the roof was all right, but expensive, and food was disappointing. The biggest surprise we had was that parking in the hotel’s parking garage was $25 a day. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Les employés pour faire l’entretien des chambres étaient en grève et on a oublié de nous avertir. J’aurais apprécié le savoir car j’aurais choisi un autre endroit pour me loger. Cet hôtel aurait besoin d’un peu d’amour dans leurs chambres et un peu partout.

This hotel is by far the worst I have ever seen. Expedia’s average rating above 4 stars is incomprehensible. This hotel is run down, worn out, in need of major renovations and fixes. Bathroom is disgusting, moldy and shower head was broken, shooting water more outside of the shower than in, the beds were clean, but the AC smell was preoccupying. The floor in the room was destroyed floating floor fake wood with open cracks and deformed by water. Even the underground parking had a stench of sewage smell. Will never go back.

Rooms are an absolute dump. Moldy caulking in shower. Peeling walls. Outdated everything. Water stains in the ceiling. Non functional AC. Floors are destroyed. Concorde charges downtown prices. Absolute racket. They should bulldoze and rebuild from start. Stay Away! Stay Away!

Close to the Old Quebec attractions! We didn't drive while exploring the area. There are lots of restaurant options just outside the hotel! The only thing I didn’t like is the fire alarm came off twice in the middle of the night, around 3am, and the hotel staff were not able to explain the cause. But I think it was just an unfortunate incident, it could have happened anywhere else.

Actually, the staff was all right, kind, only very limited due to a strike. That's also the reason that there was no room service. The main problem about the hotel is that it feels old, outdated, and cheaply kept. I think that they're wasting a great location by leaving the facilities in such a poor state.
