"We stayed for one night and unfortunately were quite disappointed with our experience. The air conditioning in our room was not working, which made it extremely hot and uncomfortable, especially as there were no windows that could be opened for ventilation. The bar staff were also very unhelpful. They seemed reluctant to serve customers and repeatedly told us they had run out of ingredients for mocktails. The overall service felt poor and unwelcoming. "Lovely hotel, conveniently located just off the M5, yet very accessible to reach the city centre by bus. Ample parking, which was also reasonably priced. The staff were super helpful giving us directions to get to the bus stop (just across the road) and which numbers we needed to look out for to reach the city centre. Breakfast was lovely, with a huge variety of food. The lift was a bit slow so we ended up using the stairs instead as we were on the first floor. Modern and super clean look. ...

"Well located for shops and both Exeter Main and St. Davids railway stations. My room was compact but well thought out and well equipped. It was great to have a light next to the bed which you could turn off/on easily and the shower was good. Breakfast was first class, beautifully served and coffee one of the best. I would have liked more savoury options for the breakfast but that is just a small preference. Host was really helpful and very welcoming. I would stay here again."

"Small room but well appointed. Very spacious and modern bathroom. Just down the hill from the high street, making the hotel quiet but well located. Beautiful pub below with great outdoor and indoor spaces. "

"Parking was easy in the square opposite. The room was lean and bed comfortable. Good shower. Could do with a bit of a refresh. Decor looked a bit tired particularly the bathroom flooring. Breakfast was a good choice and tasty. Friendly staff. Great value for money. Excellent location. Super quiet but walkable into the city. "
