"Our first visit and we will definitely be back! The lodge was clean and comfortable. Very impressed at the kitchen facilities with hob, cooker, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle and microwave. Good selection of pans and utensils. Great for self catering! TVs in 2 of the bedrooms."

"Such a warm welcome. A friendly, comfortable home-from-home in the most beautiful location, right by the beach. We were lucky enough to stay in the family suite which has 2 bedrooms & a bathroom - much nicer than all squeezing into one hotel room! Delicious & very generous breakfast. "Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. It’s an old style building though- so you can hear people in the street or going up/down the corridor outside. Doesn’t bother me- but would be disturbing for a light sleeper. However- Ilfracombe is a sleepy Devon town so there is no noise after pubs shut or before 6am"
