"A great place to stay"

"The staff was nice. The breakfast was good. But the beautiful pool that they show and hot tub as their main attraction on their pictures is closed due to health issues. This isn’t a recent closure. It’s been closed since December. But they don’t have it on the website. Also, I think this reflects very poor on Expedia for not keeping up-to-date on the hotels as well. "I loved our room, and our stay! There was only one thing that was unfortunate. The hot tub jets all didn't work that great, or not at all. It was great otherwise! So many things to do close to the hotel. Also a lot of great food! Try the pizza buffet!"

"The worst experience I’ve ever had! When I arrived, I was informed that I needed to pay a deposit even though I had already paid for the room upfront. To make matters worse, the credit card machine was malfunctioning, and it was already 11 pm. I needed to find an ATM, but the nearest one was miles away, that actually worked. "The Bay Motel was a unique surprise. My wife and I were looking for something simple and affordable to simply sleep while we were visiting our daughter...what a Gem. The staff was friendly and warm, the room was spacious, and the bed was outstanding. When we travel as a we seldom eat in the hotel restaurant, the coupons we received at check-in convinced us to give it a try...we were blown away by the speed, attentiveness of our server,, and the fresh meal we received. "The staff was amazing! There were a couple room issues we brought to the staff's attention, which they handled promptly. The bed was comfy. Room was great. The only downfall of the room was how loud the AC unit is when it kicks on...unfortunately I'm a light sleeper and woke up almost everytime it turned on. Overall, I would recommend."
