"Nice restored mansion with small, but comgortable rooms. Private bathroom & tub/shower combo, with small frig/freezer and coffee maker. A plus was the pot-belly gas stove for warming on cool Duluth mornings & evenings. Overall, very comfortable. Brule Retreat room was up one flight of stairs."

"The room and house were wonderful. I do recommend small cork disks under the tubs clawfeet and the bedposts to protect the floor and less sound when the tub expands. There is left handle on the Southwest window that should have new screws applied as well. Overall the room/stay was fantastic! Though we did wonder if we could have bought bath bombs or bubblebath there because we had forgotten to buy some at Walgreens."

"Our stay was almost perfect. The facilities, amenities and location were outstanding. We were on the second floor and not there for a wedding, so we had loud music below us all three nights until 11:00PM. The people in the room next to us had a dog that would bark occasionally but that happens with pet friendly hotels. If you don't go to bed until 11:00PM it's a perfect hotel."
