"Overall, a good place to stay. We came for a concert at the Civic Center, and it was a short walk. The downtown was clean and felt very safe, we had no concern walking back to the hotel at midnight. My only complaint was the lack of complementary coffee, which now seems a given at most hotels. Instead, Courtyard wants you to pay at their Starbucks which I won't do."

"The staff have been so nice and accommodating! We were surprised to see a bar in the hotel, my husband and I snuck away while the teen watched the other kids in the room so we could have a relaxing drink. The bartender was so sweet. Rooms are clean, pool is ok needs a little updating but functional and fun for the kids. Had a nice stay. "

"Overall stay was fine. The AC didn’t work very well. Kept turning off. We reached late so we didn’t want to ask for a room change in the middle of the night. The warm water in the shower was inconsistent. In the middle of the shower it was getting cold which happened multiple times. To be fair to the staff there, we haven’t complained about either of these issues and gave them an opportunity to fix them so I can’t complain."

"The property was well maintained and access to the hotel was directly off the highway 40 corridor. The building was positioned to reduce noise from the highway. The lobby was inviting and made for a great continental breakfast."

"We stayed at the Madison as part of our first time visit to Palo Duro Canyon. I was a bit reluctant to book based on other reviews mentioning issues with their check in code, but I was so pleased with the check in process because there were no lines, or papers to sign, or elevators to fight with. "Easy access from US 44. Minimal traffic noise. Short distance from restaurants. Inside access to room. Actually had more space and same amenities in room as more expensive hotels, just not as fancy. Breakfast variety of bread, cereal, apples, juice, coffee, make your own waffles, yogurt. No eggs or meat. "
