"The building is over 140 years old but was squeaky clean - not always easy to do with historic buildings. Wonderful 12’ ceilings, deep windowsills. Room unit for heating / cooling kept it super comfy. Staff is super friendly proficient and helpful."

"I was underwhelmed with this hotel. It is under construction right now, so the lobby layout is confusing and feels very cramped. Our room layout was fine and it was clean, but the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. The bathroom door was a pocket door that did not go all the way to ground, thus providing very little privacy. The location is great, but this was billed as one of the nicest hotels in Portland and overall felt very mid-range. "
