"I typically look at the convenience of the hotel location as the first criterion when choosing a place to stay while travelling. It is very close to Serdika Metro station with one of the subway lines comes from the airport - so no need to take a cab. Close to Alexander Nevsky Cathedral (the couple trips I booked had a gathering spot in this area) and a few other attractions. My hotel room was clean. The breakfast sufficient."

"We had a great trip. Ludmil is a wonderful host! We enjoyed the different Bulgarian pastries each morning & his chats about Bulgarian history, plus advice on where to go & how to get there. He also took us one day to Rila Monastery, a trout restaurant & Boyana Church. This was a more relaxing trip than if we'd gone on a coach tour! "

"The hotel is nice, but doesn't provide a 5 service. It was clean, staff were helpful and the location is great. However, amenities were lacking, water pressure was poor and there is only one elevator to serve too many rooms. Also, breakfast is overpriced. "

"The guesthouse has a good vibe: a shared kitchen with lots of appliances, snacks and overall lovely decorated, Everything kept clean. Spacious room, nice bathroom with shower. Friendly and helpful staff and it's in the middle of Sofia, walking distance to Vitosha Blvd and lots of cool restaurants and bars and close to the metro station."

"We have a very late arrival flight so self check-in was a great option. The room is spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom is very convenient. Great location! The only drawback - we arrived at 1 a.m. in the winter and the heating in the room was not switched on, so it took some time to warm up the room. We managed to turn the heater by ourselves, however it would be better if there are some (printed) instructions about this for other late guests or the management turn on...
