"When we arrived, we were greeted by a very friendly person at the front desk. After getting checked in, we went to our room the room appeared nice. We liked that it didn’t have carpet in the room. The things that were disappointing were there appeared to be quite a bit of dust on the baseboards and cobwebs in the corner and the toilet did need some maintenance with flushing. We did not report anything. My son enjoyed the pool and loved the breakfast area with the options for breakfast. We would consider staying here again."

"The property is beautiful, the gardens are breathtaking, and the staff is kind and seen often working on the property. The lakeside view is exquisite, the cottage itself is absolutely charming. The location is perfect for a summer weekend. We will definitely visit again, Highly recommend."

"Everything was provided in the kitchen. If you take cream or sugar in your coffee you would want to bring that We had plenty of towels and TP It was such a welcoming place with so much character. Very clean inside and out. Will definitely visit again."

"This place was fantastic! We stayed here for a few days during wedding weekend because we had a bad experience at the Resort so we came here the next day. The experience was much better than the Tawas Bay Beach Resort. John was nice as well as his staff. We plan on making this our regular vacation stay. I’m a Yelp Elite and they will be getting an amazing review."
