The lady upfront was super helpful, but they told her too bad we have to get this done so I completely ruined the entire morning being woken up over a sewing machine to loud construction, removing and replacing tile for a $300 a night hotel. "Stayed Monday–Friday for school. This did not deliver on the “residential style” promise. My room was never properly cleaned. Only a quick midweek refresh with new washcloths, didn’t change sheets or clean anything. When I asked housekeeping to clean, I was told I had only signed up for a refresh, which was never explained or presented to me at check-in. I ended up taking out my own trash and making my own bed the entire stay. The location was decent, but that’s about it. Breakfast was below...

"Breakfast is really good, staff was there to replenish and help with special requests. Facilities overall great, only thing I noticed was that the facade of the building needs to be cleaned or a new coat of paint. Overall I recommend this facility."

I almost always book a Marriot property but I errantly planned a work trip to College Station during graduation week at A&M which bumped local hotel prices well above usual rates in the area. So I gave Expedia and their rating system a shot. Horrible mistake. Do not believe the 8.0/10.0 ratings. Fake news. This is a 2.0/10.0 at best. "There was black mold in the bathroom. The exhaust fan was nasty like it never gets cleaned. The ridge had dried stuff at the bottom of it. The sink had some rust. The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly."
