"Excellent resort, the attention to detail and the level of service from all staff was amazing. We did find that the prices o. The resort were a bit too steep and like many others tended to eat out on the main road just outside the resort on most evenings. We will definitely recommend it though and can't wait to come back!"

"Great resort. I stayed here for 2 days in October. It was slow season so there were not many tourists. The property was very big. Lots of space. I gave it 5 stars but there are some things I would have liked to know before. One, if you get the partial sea view room, the hotel is set up that all rooms and balconies face each other. You will be staring at the people across from you. And everyone smokes on their balconies so the airflow will come into your room if you have the door open. Two, the music blasts until late night and the bass is ridiculously loud. It’s like you are in a night club in your room. Until 11pm. The shop on the property sells snacks and beers for way cheaper than the ones in your mini bar. Just drink the cold ones and replace them before they charge you! It’s also a little way down the main road. But that’s the only way you are going to be staying on the beach. I would definitely stay again, even knowing these things."

"Overall I really liked this resort it seemed you was miles away from the main roads and it was peaceful and quite with a nice tropical touch . The room although felt like we was shoved in a corner of the resort the room was very spacious and nice . Breakfast was ok but would have been nicer to see more choices of fruit and cereals . Staff majority really nice but a couple could do with retraining one keep going on about booking a taxi with her and another kept clearing your table before you had finished your breakfast . I would recommend it was in ideal location with plenty of shops and bars on your door step."

"Beautiful greenery around the bungalows. The pool area was nice. Access to the beach was good. Pool towels would be great to add to the rooms or around the pool so you don't have to use your bath towel. Raking the beach to clean the small amount of debris would really tidy the place up. Limited toilet paper available even after room cleaning. Beautiful room and bathroom in the bungalows. Overall, any negative comments are minor and the overall experience was wonderful."

"La Veranda in Phu Quoc Vietnam is a special place! The perfect mix of all the right B’s - boutique, bougie, boho, bliss, and beach! I went there for 3 days alone after a week long business trip in China and this place checked all of the boxes for me! Your check-in takes place at the bar with your welcome drink! The grounds are lush with greenery and exotic flowers and cleaned constantly. My room was ocean view and a huge space! I could easily hear the ocean from the balcony and I could be on the beach in less than 1 minute. The beach service was great and the security and towel staff do an amazing job of keeping everything clean and safe. I had every meal at the resort except for the last day for lunch after I checked out. The Vietnamese food I tried at breakfast and for dinner was exceptional and very fresh. The drinks were very unique and great quality. Live entertainment every night. I had a message at the spa which was excellent. Lastly, is the best reason why you should stay here and that’s the staff! I was called by name by almost every one even right after I checked in. Every request was quickly answered and they went out of their way to truly help. Everyone is happy to work there and it shows! If you want to truly relax and visit a different place, this is it!"

"The photos of the property were definitely either AI generated or manipulated to look much better than in person, that said it was still a very decent hotel with a beautiful view of the sea and mountainside. It is in a more local neighborhood rather than in the city center (which I prefer) with a lot of great options for restaurants and bars within walking distance. The beach was a quick walk down the hill where there was also access to additional nice beach front restaurants. Unfortunately, we planned our trip during the winter monsoon season so it was a little too windy and rainy to enjoy the rooftop pool or beach but I loved watching the storms roll by on our balcony. The staff was very kind and helpful, the hotel was clean and well maintained, and the restaurant food was pretty good. Overall I had a very nice weekend stay!"
