The hotel itself is located inside an apartment building so you have to communicate through a buzzer system, then heavy doors and lastly into a very small elevator or two flights of stairs. "Beautiful hotel in perfect location. Walking distance from all the sights, sounds and cuisine that Lyon has to offer. Concierge services went above and beyond (shout out to Julliette and all). I seldom order room service on vacations but I am so glad I took advantage this time. The breakfast was both delicious and very generous. Also ordered dinner one evening and was thrilled with the food and the quick service. Highly recommended indulgence!"

"We had a lovely stay at Charité! The hotel is basic but comfortable. Good mattress, powerful shower, effective air con and quiet rooms. Reception were super friendly (we spoke with 4 different individuals across our stay, all great) and the coffee was appreciated! The hotel was an excellent location for us and we walked most places. "This hotel was an excellent location for a short visit to Lyon. Short walk to restaurants and shops, and to the funicular to Basilique Notre Dame. Also, right on the Saone River. The hotel room was comfortable, although carpet was stained and looking tired. Carpet in hallways were also stained and tired. Furniture also had stains and was in need of deep clean or replacement. There are markets on both the Rhône and the Saône. You can see the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière from the hotel, and it’s situated right on Place Bellecour.
