"Our family really enjoyed our stay, cant wait to come back!"

"We've stayed at this hotel before and there are things we love and things that lead to a 3 star review. The staff are lovely and the location is great. The hotel itself is a bit dated and the pillows were awful. In addition, the $30 "inclusion fee" doesn't include anything. No breakfast, no pool/hot tub, and the "free bikes" are only for 2 hours unless they happen to be checked out as well. Overall, it feels like a junk fee and we probably won't be coming back."

"The Ocean View is fantastic but probably looking over a rooftop to see....unless you are a member! You can be near the pool and outside seating areas to have an unobstructed beautiful view of the Avila Cove. The spa was perfectly warm and clean."

"Hotel is in a nice area, right next to beach. Nice breakfast and staff. But this property is dated and our room (213) was very dark. Try to get a room facing the water."

"A beautiful hotel with comfortable beds and well-appointed rooms. Unfortunately, a persistent loud vibrating noise made sleeping difficult. The complimentary breakfast was decent, though the quality of the equipment (notably the toasters) didn't quite match the hotel's overall standard. The location, however, is truly excellent"

"The walls are very thin you can hear every noise from the people above you if you’re on the first floor. The manager was not helpful and very rude when asking if we can move rooms due to all the noise from the upstairs neighbors."

"The hotel was overbooked an we ended up relocated for both nights of our stay at different hotels. It was an incredible inconvenience as we had friends we were supposed to be staying with. Ended up ending our trip a day early because we were tired of moving around."

"Upon arriving we were pleased to see how close we were to the beach and our favorite place to get clam chowder and lobster rolls- Splash Cafe! Check in was fast, easy and super friendly, I believe Jennifer helped us and she was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Our room the captains quarters was spacious and nicely stocked with everything needed in the kitchen and extra bedding in the closet. The king size bed was very comfortable. "Stop looking. This is the hotel you want to book for your family and dog. Free parking in Pismo?! Yes please! Location is perfect, 2bed/2 bath was clean and more than we could ask for! Thank you Tides! You’re our new go to now! "
