"The Agricultural Inn was authentic, super friendly and comfortable. The pub and food were excellent. Our room and en suite bath were large with a comfortable bed and nice amenities. "Really enjoyed our stay at the Lounge Hotel Penrith. Stayed in a family room with a toddler and baby, we had plenty of space. Great options for everybody at breakfast and the cooked breakfast is delicious. Helpful and friendly staff that go above and beyond, such as giving us some milk at the nighttime for my son. Only downside was no lift to get our double pram up to the hotel room, but wasn’t a big deal or inconvenience to us and we just folded and carried it up the stairs. Would highly...

"Castle gate had a great location close to railway station and bus stop ,from bus stop you could get to Keswick and Windermere."

"Excellent atmosphere- very friendly towards dog- was very wet when we got there but there was a dog towel in hallway and dog bed in the room . Room very clean and unfussy. Hotel itself has a lovely comfortable cosy feel about it. Staff very attentive and food v good too! Would recommend! "
