"Unfortunately there was a lot of dust in the property, the door to bathroom was so dusty you could write on it also the shelf next to the safe was also covered in dust. The handle to the living room/ kitchen was missing. There was no air conditioning but there were a couple of floor fans and portable radiators if required. Beds were clean and comfortable. As it was very hot the few days we were there we were surprised that the radiators in the hallways were on making it. Close to the train...

"It was close to the station. Oddly, there was no indication of where to find reception as you walked towards the hotel. We had to walk all the way around with heavy cases on a very hot day to discover the entrance. A simple sign would have helped. The room was pretty good. Breakfast adequate but not great. One teabag per person per day seems pretty mean as policy. Toilet paper ran out; we had to ask for more. Shouldn’t really have to…"

"This is an excellent hotel in all aspects. It is right across the street from the Newcastle train and metro station, which gives easy access to many beautiful places near Newcastle (e.g., Tynemouth, Durham, etc.). The room was spacious, conveniently designed, and clean. The staff was helpful and professional. The hot breakfast was also a good way to start the day. "Very spacious room. Bed could have been a little more comfortable but was adequate. Close to many walkable sites. The room access cards kept failing once or twice a day which was annoying but all the staff were helpful and friendly. Laundry was a pain as it was very expensive and had to be provided to them by 8am if you wanted it back the same day. We took an Uber to a coin laundry and it took an hour and was cheaper including the cost of the Uber there and back"
